जीवन एक वरदान है। इंसान होना, इतना बड़ा चमत्कार है। लेकिन यह नश्वर है। हर कोई जो पैदा हुआ है, उसे एक समय के बाद मरना ही होता है। And yet, people live in ignorance, waste their lives in living purposelessly and even create disharmony, trouble, and difficulties for other people.
साल 1968 में साहित्य का नोबेल पुरस्कार जीतने वाले जापानी लेखक यासुनारी कवाबाता (1899-1972) लिखते हैं, “समय सभी मनुष्यों के लिए समान रूप से बहता है; मगर हर इंसान एक अलग तरीके से समय की धारा में तैरता है।” The faculty of the mind, enjoyed in nature only by human beings, is our biggest power, which, if not used properly, can create problems, and bring miseries.
सनातन और परिवर्तन के खेल को समझना जरूरी है। The sun, the earth and the moon are forever there in the sky, moving in their orbits. For example, in every human being that lives in a body, takes birth as an infant, grows up, ages, and finally dies, lives an immortal self, watching every action, every thought, all omissions and commissions. बचपन की यादें कभी भी जीवंत हो उठती हैं। सभी भावनाऐं शरीर में संग्रहीत रहती हैं, किसी भी समय पुनः उभर आने के लिए हमेशा तैयार !
There are eight billion human beings living on the earth. Each has been given the gift of life, that includes a body to act and a mind to imagine. The challenge is to use your mind to find a purpose for your life and work to fulfill that. गरीबी में जन्म लेने वाले व्यक्ति के लिए जीवन का उद्देश्य यह हो सकता है कि वह धन कमा कर इससे बाहर आ जाए। धनवानों में जन्म लेने वाले व्यक्ति का उद्देश्य पैतृक धन को बढ़ाना और उसे दूसरों के लिए रोजगार के सृजन में लगाना हो सकता है।
फिर ऐसी व्यवस्थाऐं और व्यवसाय हैं – स्कूल, अस्पताल, बाजार, खेती, निर्माण, परिवहन, संचार, इत्यादि – जिन्हें कुशल लोगों की आवश्यकता होती है। Only those who prepare themselves in childhood by studying well and maintain physical fitness, enter these systems, find their livelihood, and even better the services there.
इसी तरह दुनिया काम करती है;
इसलिए ही मनुष्य का जन्म होता है।

Get hold of the immense opportunities available in the world and use them to find a purpose for your life.
Live that purpose for your own good and to improve the conditions around.
यदि आप ऐसा नहीं करोगे, तो बारिश आपके खेत की मिट्टी बहा ले जाएगी। आप हर दिन बूढ़े हो रहे हैं और अंततः चले जाएंगे। यही जन्म लेने वाले प्रत्येक जीव की नियति है। अपने स्वास्थ्य की रक्षा करें, अपने शरीर की देखभाल करें, उसे मजबूत बनाएं, और अपने उद्देश्य को खोजने के लिए अपने दिमाग का उपयोग करें। किसी मकसद के साथ जिएं।
