The Volvo XC40 is a compact luxury crossover SUV manufactured by Volvo Cars. It was unveiled on 21 September 2017.

The car comes with a smart-phone app which can locate the car, report on its locking, alarming, and charging status, and start its battery preconditioning and/or cabin heating/cooling. 3. Tata Nexon EV

Being a subcompact crossover SUV and the smallest segment of crossover SUVs, it is produced on the Indian soil by Tata, one of India’s indigenous electric car brands since 2017. It is also the first crossover SUV from them.

The engines of Tata Nexon EV are developed by Tata Motors and Austrian engineering company AVL.

The petrol engine delivers a maximum power of 81 kW and 170 Nm of maximum torque combined with a 6-speed automatic or manual transmission and 312Km/full charge mileage.

On the other hand, the diesel engine delivers 81 kW power and 260 Nm of maximum torque, also joined with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. The Tata Nexon EV has won a number of splendid awards. It is the winner of the 2021 CNB EV of the Year award. The Green Car award by ICOTY 2021

4. MG ZS EV

With 1 Electric Engine on offer, MG ZS EV is available with the Automatic transmission. The ZS EV is a 5 seater and has length of 4323 mm, width of 1809 mm and a wheelbase of 2581 mm.

The maximum power of the MG ZS EV is 173.83bhp while maximum Torque generated by vehicles is 280 Nm. The MG ZS EV is likely to charge up to 100% within 6-7.5 hours via public charging points that supply between 7.4 kW to 22 kW.

MG Motor also offers an 8 year/1.50 lakh kilometer warranty on the ZS EV’s battery pack. The MG ZS EV has been crowned the UK Car of the Year 2022 award by leading EV title DrivingElectric.
